The vibrance of Sikkimese culture goes beyond the colors we see on monastery walls. From the moment we set foot in Siliguri, we started learning new things about the eastern side of the country. Architectural elements, food habits, traffic ethics and scenic beauty dominated the prism of our observations on site. The challenges of designing contoured landscapes were realized through on site observations and spending time in Gangtok. We realized the significance of a site visit in the duration of time we spent in Sikkim. The perspective we gained about the localities and their cultural behaviors and practices are unparalleled.
